Why it matters who you buy from
A stairlift is used several times a day for years. What decides whether that stays trouble-free is not the sale — it is who answers the phone afterwards, and whether they still hold the parts.
Every lift is ordered from Otolift and configured for your staircase. Nothing is refurbished, re-badged or bought second-hand.
Every installation is checked against the manufacturer’s safety and performance requirements before it is handed over to you.
Otolift’s modular rail is built from stock parts rather than manufactured from scratch, so the wait between order and installation is shorter than a conventional made-to-order curved rail.
Annual maintenance, safety checks, battery replacement and breakdown callouts are all handled by our own Otolift-trained technicians. See our service plans.
Where we work
Most of our work is residential, but a staircase is a barrier in a shophouse or a clinic just as much as in a terrace house.
Fitted to the staircase itself, so there is no structural work and your bannister can stay.

How we work
Most of our customers are buying a stairlift for a parent, and most of them are doing it for the first time. These are the rules we hold ourselves to.
If a staircase is genuinely unsuitable, or a lift isn't the right solution for the person who'll use it, we say so at the assessment. A sale that shouldn't have happened costs everyone more later.
The quotation covers supply, installation and handover. There is no separate fitting fee that appears afterwards and no pressure to decide on the day of the visit.
Our installers don't leave until the person who needs the lift has operated it themselves, and everyone in the household knows how the controls and safety features work.
Otolift’s design work has been recognised by the Red Dot Design Award — one of the reasons the Modul-Air Smart reads as a piece of furniture on the staircase rather than a piece of equipment in the hallway.
The people
The person who measures your staircase is on the installation. The person who installs it comes back for the service. Nothing is handed to a subcontractor.
Assessment, installation and servicing are all carried out by our own staff. You are not passed between three companies who each point at the other.
Our technicians are trained on Otolift products and re-trained when the product changes, so the person on your staircase knows the machine in front of them.
We tell you the name of the person attending before every visit, whether it is the first assessment or a service call three years later.
